Move anything. Break nothing.
Cloud Fixer helps you migrate websites, email, files, servers, DNS, databases, WordPress, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, cloud storage, and more — with a plan-first approach built to minimize downtime and eliminate surprises.
What can we migrate?
- Websites: WordPress, static sites, custom apps, hosting moves
- Email: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, IMAP/POP, archive exports
- Files: file servers → OneDrive/SharePoint, NAS → cloud storage
- Servers: VPS/dedicated → new provider, lift & shift, re-platform
- Databases: MySQL/MariaDB, Postgres, app data migrations
- DNS & Domains: cutovers, TTL planning, registrar/provider moves
Plan, plan, and plan — so it’s done right the first time
Migrations fail when people rush. We slow down up front so execution is smooth. Every project follows a proven process designed to protect data, maintain service continuity, and minimize downtime — with a clear “go/no-go” checkpoint before cutover.
1) Discovery & Scope Lock
- Inventory: domains, DNS, SSL, hosting, email, apps, integrations, backups
- Define “success”: what must work on day one (and what can follow)
- Risk review: dependencies, legacy settings, security constraints
2) Migration Blueprint
- Written step-by-step plan with responsibilities and timeline
- Downtime strategy: staged cutover, TTL tuning, or parallel-run options
- Rollback plan: exactly how we revert if anything looks wrong
3) Staging, Testing, & Rehearsal
- Build the destination environment and validate performance & security
- Test logins, forms, email delivery, SSL, DNS, APIs, and integrations
- Dry run: confirm the playbook and cutover timing
4) Cutover & Verification
- Execute during a planned window with clear communication
- Health checks: uptime, SSL, DNS propagation, app logs, transactions
- Client sign-off checklist so everyone agrees it’s good
Migration services we handle end-to-end
Whether you’re consolidating vendors, moving to the cloud, or modernizing an old setup — we can migrate the data, the platform, and the “moving parts” (DNS, SSL, email routing, integrations, and user access) so your business keeps working.
Website & WordPress Migrations
Full site moves, host-to-host, domain changes, staging → production, performance tuning, security hardening, and post-move monitoring. We verify forms, plugins, payment flows, caching, SEO basics, redirects, and SSL.
Email & Collaboration
Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace migrations, mailbox moves, aliases, shared mailboxes, groups, calendars, contacts, and archives — plus DNS records (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) to protect deliverability.
File Servers → Cloud Storage
Move shared drives and business documents to OneDrive/SharePoint or secure cloud storage with permissions mapping, structured folder planning, and user training so adoption sticks.
Server, VPS, and Infrastructure Migrations
Lift-and-shift or re-platform server workloads: web stacks, databases, apps, monitoring, firewall rules, backups, and disaster recovery. We validate performance and security before going live.
Domains, DNS, SSL, and Vendor Consolidation
Cleaner DNS, safer registrar moves, email routing sanity checks, certificate planning, and cutovers with propagation awareness. Great for businesses tired of “vendor sprawl.”
What we protect during every migration
- Data integrity: checks, audits, and validation so nothing goes missing
- Business continuity: minimize downtime and keep critical services running
- Security posture: least-privilege access, MFA, backups, and hardened configs
- Deliverability & trust: email DNS alignment to prevent spam/blacklist issues
- Rollback readiness: a real plan to revert if anything looks off
Full support after the move: 30 / 60 / 90 days
The migration isn’t “done” when DNS flips. Real success is stable operations after real users start working again. We stay engaged to resolve edge cases, tune performance, and ensure the new environment is truly ready for the long haul.
Included in post-migration support
- Monitoring & alerts: uptime, key services, SSL, DNS, and performance watch
- Issue resolution: forms, email delivery, permissions, app errors, user access
- Optimization: caching, database tuning, resource sizing, security hardening
- Documentation: what moved, where it lives now, and how it’s managed
- Training/support: help your team adjust to the new setup
30 Days
Stabilization window. We handle early issues, DNS propagation quirks, email routing cleanup, and confirm the core workflows are solid.
60 Days
Optimization and refinement. We tune performance, address “edge-case” user scenarios, and tighten security and backups.
90 Days
Operational confidence. We ensure the new platform is fully adopted, well-documented, and ready for ongoing maintenance and growth.
Migration FAQ
How much downtime should we expect?
Many migrations can be executed with minimal downtime by staging the destination, syncing data ahead of time, and using planned DNS cutovers. If downtime is unavoidable, we schedule the smallest window possible and communicate clearly before and after.
What do you need from us?
Access to the current environment (hosting/email/DNS), a primary point of contact, and clarity on what “must work” on day one. We’ll provide a checklist during discovery to keep things organized.
Do you provide a rollback plan?
Yes. Every migration includes a rollback strategy. If anything critical fails verification, we revert quickly and regroup using the plan.
Can you migrate “messy” environments?
Absolutely — and that’s where planning matters most. We’ll map what exists, simplify where appropriate, and document what’s changing so the new setup is cleaner and easier to manage.
Note: Timelines and downtime vary by environment complexity, data size, vendor constraints, and required testing. We’ll provide clear expectations during discovery.
